Invitation to use Direct Cheque Deposit Facility (DCDF) & Online Services

 

Dear Customer,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being ICBC account holder. In light of the outbreak and developing of COVID-19 pandemic, where access to public places is to be avoided, bank’s customers are also advised to operate from their homes and offices in order to effectively implement social distancing.

In order to facilitate the general public by limiting person-to-person interactions and to provide ease of cheque clearing services through RTGS, we are inviting you to use the Direct Cheque Deposit Facility (DCDF). Under this facility, a crossed cheque may be presented by payee/beneficiary directly to any branch of ICBC, instead of their own bank branches as per the existing process of Outward Clearing through NIFT. For example, if any ICBC account holder issues a cheque in favor of a beneficiary who maintains account in any other bank in Pakistan. Then instead of depositing the cheque in their own bank branch, the beneficiary is now allowed to come to ICBC Branch and request for transfer of funds in their account. In this case, funds may be transferred to the beneficiary's account by the branch through RTGS customer fund transfer.

We also recommend you to use our Internet Banking Services to tackle your 24x7 financial services needs thereby limiting the personal visit to branches. If you have not yet registered for Internet Banking, then you are requested to contact with your branch immediately.

For Personal Internet Banking Services:
Personal Internet Banking Services provides ICBC personal clients with brand-new online financial services including account inquiry, transfer and remittance, bill payment and other function.
1. Account Transfer allows you to transfer from your ICBC account to any other ICBC Pakistan Operations’ account holder.
2. IBFT & RTGS allow you to transfer funds from your bank account to any other account in local banks electronically. Funds are transferred to the beneficiary account in real time, without the hassle of depositing cash or cheques in the beneficiary’s bank branch.
3. Cross-Border Remittance allows you to remit your salary income to your domicile abroad for family support.
4. BPS & Customer Payment Gateway allow you to pay your bills from the comfort of your home or office.

For Corporate E-banking Services:
1. Account Transfer allows you to transfer from your ICBC account to any other ICBC Pakistan Operations’ account holder.
2. IBFT & RTGS allow you to transfer funds from your bank account to any other account in local banks electronically. Funds are transferred to the beneficiary account in real time, without the hassle of depositing cash or cheques in the beneficiary’s bank branch.
3. BPS & Customer Payment Gateway allow you to pay your bills from the comfort of your home or office.
4. Pay Order Online Request allows you to apply for pay order instrument issuance online and collect from branch. It greatly reduces your precious waiting time with guaranteed payment backed by the bank.  

Further, you may also use your Debit Card on ATMs and POS (Point of Sale) machines nationwide for your payment needs and minimize cash demands.

Additionally, as a measure to limit the spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) by promoting the use of digital payment services you can now perform the following transactions free of cost till further instructions.
